Legendary Scottish football player and manager Kenny Dalglish was discharged from the hospital after receiving coronavirus treatment, local media reported on Sunday.

“They were absolutely brilliant. As a nation, we are all very fortunate to have them and I wish them all well as they work tirelessly to help the country through this pandemic,” Dalglish told The Sunday Post, hailing the healthcare staff.

Dalglish said that the rest of his treatment will continue at home.
