American basketball player Malcolm Delaney inked a two-year deal Tuesday with Italian team AX Armani Exchange Milan.
Olimpia Milano, or AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milan, announced the deal with a video on Twitter.
“Malcolm Delaney is a proven player, he’ll bring to us winning mentality and experience,” said General Manager Christos Stavropoulos.
”We identified very early that he was player we needed and we are happy he will be part of our team.”
The 31-year-old player said he is happy to join the Italian club.
“I just want to say how happy and excited I am to start a new journey and challenge for myself, as well as being a part of a powerful project being put together by a historic club,” he said.
Delaney played for Barcelona in the Spanish Liga Endesa during the 2019-2020 season, averaging 10.2 points, 4.8 assists and 2.2 rebounds in 26 EuroLeague games.
