Barcelona’s Ansu Fati has been ruled out for approximately four months due to a knee injury, the Spanish side said on Monday.
“Ansu Fati has successfully undergone surgery for the internal mensicus injury in his left knee,” Barcelona said in a statement, and wished him a “full and speedy recovery.”
The 18-year-old player was injured in the match against Real Betis on Saturday, which Barca won 5-2.
The Spanish winger scored five goals and made four assists in 10 matches this season.
