Barcelona toppled fierce rivals Real Madrid 79-72 in Friday’s Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Round 5 basketball game.

The home team of the “El Clasico,” got the win as three players scored in double digits.

Slovakian forward Kyle Kuric scored 15 points, Ugandan center Brandon Davies had 14 and US guard Cory Higgins added 13 for Barcelona at the Palau Blaugrana.

Real Madrid’s US forward Trey Thompkins scored 14 points and Spanish teammate Alberto Abalde added 13 for “Los Blancos,” or The Whites.

Barcelona is 4-1 in the 2020-21 EuroLeague’s regular season and third in the standings.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid are struggling at 1-4 this season.

The Whites are currently in the 16th spot.

Barcelona will visit TD Systems Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz at Buesa Arena on Oct. 30 in the next round.

Real Madrid will host Germany’s Bayern Munich at WiZink Center on Oct. 29.
