ANKARA - Treasury will hold two bond auctions, including one reference bond auction this week.
The Treasury will hold 90-day reference bond auction on Tuesday. The reference bonds will be issued on April 24 and repaid on July 23, 2003.
A net sale of 1 quadrillion 141 trillion Turkish liras (TL) is foreseen in the auction.
The Treasury will sell 300-day discounted bond auctions on Tuesday.
The value date of the 300-day discounted bonds will be April 24 and their maturity will be February 18, 2004.
Meanwhile, Treasury Undersecretariat held on April 8 two auctions to sell 182-day discounted bonds and 385-day discounted debenture bonds.
In the first auction, the total bid had been 1 quadrillion 146.1 trillion Turkish liras (TL) while the Treasury sold 1 quadrillion 4.2 trillion TL of nominal-valued bonds. The net sale became 801.5 trillion TL.
The composite interest was 56.99 percent while the simple interest was 50.59 percent in this auction.
In the 385-day debenture bond auction, the total bid had been 4 quadrillion 684.2 trillion TL.
The Treasury sold 4 quadrillion 112.7 trillion TL of nominal-valued bonds while the net sale became 2 quadrillion 456.4 trillion TL.
The composite interest was 63.75 percent and the simple interest became 62.79 percent.
