GAZIANTEP - Southeastern Anatolia Project (GAP) region exported 110 million 661 thousand U.S. dollars of textiles in the first three months of 2003.
In the same period last year, the region exported 89 million 486 thousand U.S. dollars of textiles.
Gaziantep-based Southeast Anatolian Exporters' Association told the A.A on Friday that they exported 31 million 459 thousand U.S. dollars in cotton thread, 75 million 808 thousand U.S. dollars in weaving and 3 million 394 thousand U.S. dollars in various other textile products.
The region exported 40 million 608 thousand U.S. dollars of textiles in January, 29 million 511 thousand U.S. dollars of textiles in February and 40 million 542 thousand U.S. dollars in March.
