Sezer Received Polish Prime Minister

ANKARA - President Ahmet Necdet Sezer exchanged views with Polish Prime Minister Leszek Miller on Monday about Iraq war and developments that might occur after the war.
A statement of the Presidential Press Center said that Sezer received Miller.
The statement quoted Sezer as saying that ties of friendship between Turkey and Poland laid a suitable ground for further improvement of bilateral relations.
Sezer stressed that two countries should exert efforts to develop economic and commercial relations and expressed pleasure with the steps that Poland had taken in integration with Euro-Atlantic organizations.
Miller reiterated Polish President Kwasniewski's invitation to Sezer to visit their country.
They thought that good political relations between the two countries should also be reflected to economic and commercial fields, Miller said.
Miller noted that they attached importance to balanced development of trade between the two countries and expressed belief that contacts between Polish businessmen who accompany him and Turkish businessmen would give beneficial results.
Turkey and Poland shared common views about international issues and threats, Miller emphasized.
Miller said that they wanted to improve the cooperation between the two countries not only in Euro-Atlantic region but also in Eurasia.
They appreciated Turkey's efforts and key role in strengthening stability in its region, Miller stated.
