TRABZON - A Cambodian-flagged cargo ship sank in Black Sea 10 nautical miles off Trabzon on Wednesday.
''Alaska'' which is 52 meters in length and 397 gross tons in weight had capsized in rough sea at about 5 a.m. and later it sank, leaving five crew members missing.
Two crew members managed to escape on a lifeboat.
The Coast Guard was searching for the missing crew members of Russian and Ukrainian nationality.
The Coast Guard Command said that names of Russian crew members are: ''Tsintsadze Georgiy, Klokov Alexander, Chalkhadze Vladimir and Mikhaylov Mikhail'', and names of Ukrainian crew members are: ''Velikanda Viktor, Martsynykov Mikola and Baranov Yuriy''.
Tsintzadze Georgiy and Mlokov Alexander managed to escape on a lifeboat while Chalkhadze Vladimir, Mikhaylov Mikhail, Velikanda Viktor, Martsynykov Mikola and Baranov Yuriy were reported missing.
It said the ship was carrying citrus fruits from Trabzon to Russia.
