Denktas: We Will Make Joint Evaluation With Gul

LEFKOSA - Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) President Rauf Denktas said on Tuesday that they would make a joint evaluation about Cyprus issue during Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul's visit to TRNC.
Replying to questions of reporters, Denktas said that they would have the opportunity to make a joint evaluation about Cyprus issue during Gul's visit.
Denktas expressed pleasure that Gul was paying his first foreign trip to TRNC in his new office and hoped to get good results.
When a reporter recalled that Gul's visit to TRNC would be paid immediately after U.S. State Secretary Colin Powell's trip to Ankara and prior to the meeting of the U.N. Security Council on Cyprus, Denktas said, ''just a coincidence.''
Gul will come to TRNC for a one-day working visit on April 3.
