War Protest In Front Of Turkish Consulate General In Aleppo

ANKARA - Thousands of Syrians who protested the operation of the U.S. against Iraq held a demonstration in front of Turkish Consulate General in Aleppo, Syria last week.
The demonstrators who walked to the representations of the countries which extended support to the operation, blockaded in a way the Turkish Consulate General.
Foreign Ministry summoned Syrian Ambassador to Turkey Muhammad Said El Bunni and told him that Syria had to take the necessary measures and to show the necessary sensitivity about the issue which was not covered by the press.
After the initiative of Ankara, Syrian soldiers took tight security measures around the Turkish Consulate.
