ANKARA - A total of three U.S. war planes made emergency landing in Turkey on Tuesday.
The war planes which took part in the operation in Iraq yesterday and which were in difficult situation, asked Turkey to make emergency landing.
The planes which got positive response from Turkey, landed at an airport in Turkey.
Diplomatic sources said that the planes taking part in Operation Northern Watch started to leave Incirlik air base as of Tuesday as Operation Northern Watch ended. Sources said that the news published in the press saying 'the base was busy' stemmed from the fact that the planes left the base.
Meanwhile it has been reported that a coordination unit centre will be founded in Silopi which will take up the problems that can come out among Turkey, the U.S. and the groups in the region and which will provide the communication.
Sources said agreement was reached for foundation of the centre, yet the issue of commanding the centre has not been clarified yet.
