Babacan Receives Bankers

ANKARA - State Minister Ali Babacan for Treasury received representatives of state and private banks on Wednesday.
The meeting at the Treasury lasted nearly two and a half hours.
Central Bank Governor Sureyya Serdengecti, Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA) Chairman Engin Akcakoca and State Banks Joint Executive Boards Chairman Sefa Ocak were also in attendance at the meeting.
Sources said that bankers were told that there would not be any problem about implementation of the economic program, necessary measures had been taken, and there would not be any problem in payments.
