Ziya: Turkmens Don't Trust Anybody Other Than Turkish Soldiers

IZMIR - Mustafa Ziya, the Turkey Representative of the Turkmen Front who is also in charge of International Relations commented on Saturday that ''this is a psychological war, the real war has not yet started.''
Ziya who addressed the conference on ''Northern Iraq and Turkmens'' by telephone, gave information about the decisions taken following the meeting held with Iraqi opposition groups in Ankara between 18-19 March. Ziya recalled that the opposition groups decided to act together with the coalition powers.
Ziya noted that Turkmens don't trust anybody other than Turkish soldiers, adding that ''the concerns of Turkmens continue, we could not got commitment from the U.S. yet. We prepare ourselves. If necessary, we have the power to defend and protect ourselves.''
