ANKARA - The 59th government founded by Recep Tayyip Erdogan got vote of confidence in the parliament on Sunday.
A total of 512 deputies attended the voting. 350 deputies voted for the government, while 162 deputies voted against it. AK Party has 364 seats, CHP has 177 seats, DYP has 3 seats in the parliament and there are five independent deputies.
Prime Minister Erdogan addressed the parliament following the vote of confidence and he thanked the deputies. ''We will do our best for prosperity of our country and people,'' Erdogan said hoping for better days.
PRESIDENT SEZER CONGRATULATES PRIME MINISTER ERDOGAN
Presidential Press Centre said that President Sezer sent a message of congratulation to Prime Minister Erdogan and wished him success in his studies.

Erdogan and the cabinet members paid respect in the Mausoleum.
Signing the Special Book of Mausoleum, Erdogan wrote that ''we commemorate you with respect as the founder of the Republic. Our government will do its utmost for the prosperity and happiness of the nation. We are resolved to serve Turkey by the support we got from the nation.''
