Gul Meets With Foreign Minister Palacio Of Spain

BRUSSELS - Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul, who is currently in Brussels together with State Minister Ali Babacan to attend the meeting of the European Union (EU), met on Friday with Foreign Minister Ana Palacio of Spain.
The U.S.-led military action against Iraq and relations between Turkey and the EU were high on agenda of the meeting.
Gul is scheduled to meet with foreign ministers of Germany, Greece, Italy, Britain and France and with EU Foreign Policy Chief Javier Solana.
He is expected to return to Turkey later in the day.
