ANKARA - Banks' credit volume decreased 158.4 trillion Turkish liras (TL) to 41 quadrillion 260 trillion TL between February 28 and March 7, 2003.
The total credit volume at banks was 41 quadrillion 418.4 trillion TL on February 28.
The credits given to financial sector were composed of 892 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 1 quadrillion 434.7 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
The credits given to non-financial sector were composed of 220.9 trillion TL of loans given by Central Bank, 33 quadrillion 969.7 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 4 quadrillion 551.1 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
