Visa Procedures Stopped In U.S. And British Consulate Generals In Istanbul

ISTANBUL - Visa procedures were stopped on Thursday in U.S. and British Consulate Generals in Istanbul after the operation of the United States against Iraq started.
The security measures were increased around the buildings of consulate generals of the United States and Britain after the operation started. Roads to U.S. Representation were closed to traffic.
The visa procedures were stopped in Istanbul Consulate General of the United States on Thursday morning until a second statement was released.
Citizens who came to visa section of Istanbul Consulate General of Britain were also returned.
