ANKARA - Iraqi Turkmen Front leader Sanan Ahmet Aga said on Thursday that the U.S. action against Iraq was not a surprise, stating that this was something which everybody expected.
Aga said the action was the first warning, and that coming steps would be taken in line with the developments in Iraq.
Pointing out that they contacted with Iraq after the operation started and that the situation was calm in Irbil, Aga said the news reports that there was migration toward the borders was right.
Aga said people would return in case stability can be installed in cities, but that migration would continue increasingly in case concerns of people were not met.
