Gul And Babacan To Attend E.U. Summit

ANKARA - Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul and State Minister Ali Babacan will represent Turkey in the summit which will bring the European Union (EU) candidate countries together.
Gul and Babacan will depart for Brussels to attend the summit on Thursday night or Friday morning.
Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan was scheduled to attend the summit, but he cancelled his visit to Brussels due to latest developments in the region.
