Incirlik Base Quiet

ADANA - Incirlik Air Base in southern Adana province was in full silence at the first hours of the first stage of the operation launched by the planes of the United States and Britain after 48 hour-period given by the U.S. President George Bush to Iraq expired.
Doors of the hangars were closed throughout the night in the base which is in the level of ''Charlie'' security alert.
Only a C-17 cargo plane landed in the base. This plane departed from the base after around an hour.
Another cargo plane landed in the base 10 minutes after the starting of air strike in Iraq.
