Gul: Cicek Made The Necessary Statement About The Motion

ANKARA - Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul said on Wednesday that Justice Minister and Government Spokesman Cemil Cicek had made the necessary statement about the second Prime Ministry motion on dispatch of Turkish soldiers abroad and deployment of foreign armed forces in Turkey.
Meanwhile, sources said that any other changes were not envisaged to be made in the motion.
The same sources noted that giving permission to the United States to use airspace of Turkey was high on agenda instead of deployment of U.S. soldiers in Turkey.
The United States has pledged to send economic assistance to Turkey in case of opening its airspace.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Ugur Ziyal held a telephone conversation with U.S. Ambassador to Turkey Robert Pearson earlier in the day about the economic assistance.
Yesterday, Justice Minister and Government Spokesman Cicek said that the United States requested Turkey to allow immediately its planes to use the airspace.
