ISTANBUL - A moderate earthquake rocked Turkey-Iraq border on Sunday.
Officials of Bogazici University Kandilli Observatory Center and Seismology Institute said that an earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale was recorded in Turkey-Iraq border at 11.06 a.m.
The officials noted that the earthquake was felt in Semdinli town of southeastern Hakkari province, adding that the earthquake was recorded in the south of that town and outside Turkey's border.
