ANKARA - Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul said on Saturday that they targeted to evaluate in the very best way those days which were critical not only for Turkey but also for the whole world. Gul said their target was to establish peace in the world and stability in the region. He said they also aimed at protecting the interests of Turkey in the best way.
Speaking at the hand over ceremony in Foreign Ministry, Gul said former Foreign Minister Yasar Yakis represented Turkey in many regions of the world successfully.
Gul said he would be pleased to work with this valuable cadre, stating that, ''I am sure that we will evaluate those days, which have critical importance for the region and the world, in the very best way. We will be in an effort to fulfill what is required by Turkey's interests.''
