Bush's Iraq Adviser Khalilzad In Foreign Ministry

ANKARA - U.S. President George W. Bush's adviser for Iraq Zalmay Khalilzad held on Saturday a meeting with Foreign Ministry Deputy Undersecretary Ali Tuygan.
Following the meeting, Khalilzad told reporters that Turkey was an important friend and ally of the United States and the two countries breasted important difficulties.
Khalilzad said that they exchanged views about how a change in Iraqi regime could be made without any problems and in a regular way if Bush decided to disarm Iraq by using force.
He would continue his contacts on Monday, Khalilzad noted.
Replying to a question, Khalilzad said that they expected that Iraqi opposition groups would meet in Ankara at the beginning of the following week and that all concerned groups would attend the meeting.
