Khalilzad Due In Ankara

ANKARA - U.S. President George W. Bush's Adviser for Iraq Zalmay Khalilzad will arrive in Ankara on Friday.
Khalilzad who is expected to be in Ankara at noon will meet with Foreign Ministry officials.
During his meetings, Khalilzad will exchange views concerning recent developments about Iraq issue and contacts of Iraqi opposition delegation which is expected to come to Ankara next week.
Khalilzad had earlier said that they supported inclusion of Turkmens in the chairmanship council, which was elected during the meeting of Iraqi opposition groups in Salahhaddin town of Iraq, as soon as possible, adding that a unilateral military initiative in northern Iraq was against Turkey's interests.
