Detained Journalists Released

SILOPI - Journalists who were captured while trying to pass from Habur Border Gate to northern Iraq illegally were released on Tuesday.
Two American and one Turkish journalists who were captured by gendarme forces while trying to enter northern Iraq from Ovakoy village near Habur Border Gate were released by paying fine.
Correspondent of American ABC channel Elif Esra Ural told reporters that they were trying to do their job like all the journalists in the border, adding that their aim was to take equipment to their colleagues in northern Iraq.
