ANKARA - U.S. President George W. Bush called AK Party leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan by phone and congratulated him on Monday.
U.S. President Bush called Erdogan in the evening and congratulated Erdogan for being elected as a deputy from Siirt province.
British Prime Minister Tony Blair, Greek Prime Minister Costas Simitis, U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan and EU Commission's President Patrick Cox also phoned Erdogan and congratulated him.
