ANKARA - Visit of International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation headed by IMF Turkey Desk Chief Juha Kahkonen to Turkey ended on Saturday.
Kahkonen is expected to depart from Turkey on Sunday.
During contacts of the IMF delegation, the sides have reached compromise on all basic factors of the letter of intent of the fourth review such as 6.5 percent non-interest surplus, growth and inflation.
Works on other details will be carried out in Washington D.C.
State Minister Ali Babacan will leave for the United States on March 15.
Babacan is expected to hold talks with IMF officials on details and pre-conditions during his visit to Washington D.C.
If an agreement is reached on the details, the IMF Board is expected to take up the fourth review prior to the IMF-World Bank Spring Term meetings on April 12.
