Kalchev: Iraq Starts To Be Moderate And It Is Eliminating Weapons

ISTANBUL - Bulgarian State Minister Dimitur Kalchev said on Friday that Iraq started to be moderate and it was eliminating weapons, adding, ''I think that war will not start.''
Kalchev, who attended a ceremony in Istanbul, said that Bulgarian companies would like to make business in Turkey and added that Bulgarian Overgas firm also wanted to work in Turkey.
Responding questions of reporters concerning developments in Iraq, Kalchev recalled that Bulgaria decided to evacuate Bulgarian Embassy in Baghdad and said that the embassy would be evacuated in ten days.
Kalchev said that Iraq started to be moderate and was eliminating weapons, adding, ''I think that war will not start. I think they will reach an agreement at the last moment.''
Wishing that the United Nations Security Council would take a peaceful decision, Kalchev said that he believed in a peaceful solution.
