ANKARA - Foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank decreased by 36 million U.S. dollars between February 21 and 28, 2003.
According to the Central Bank's weekly bulletin, the Central Bank's foreign exchange reserves which were 27 billion 734 million U.S. dollars on February 21, decreased to 27 billion 698 million U.S. dollars on February 28.
Meanwhile, total foreign exchange reserves of banks and private finance organizations decreased 218 million U.S. dollars from 12 billion 47 million U.S. dollars on February 7 to 11 billion 829 million U.S. dollars on February 10.
Meanwhile, the international reserves of Turkey comprising gold reserves and foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank, commercial banks and private finance organizations decreased 246 million U.S. dollars from 41 billion 877 million U.S. dollars to 41 billion 631 million U.S. dollars between February 7-10.
