Anti- Turkey Campaigns In Northern Iraq Will Not Be Beneficial To Anybody

ANKARA - The Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday that campaigns carried out in Northern Iraq against Turkey would not be beneficial to anybody.
A statement of the Foreign Ministry said that Turkey wanted to be taken as a target in the meeting of the Iraqi opposition groups in Salahuddin, Iraq, by the behaviors which showed Turkey as if it had an eye on Iraq's territory and free will of Iraqi people.
Then, there were some demonstrations against Turkey which gave the impression that they were planned demonstrations, and some extreme behaviors during those demonstrations in the same region, the statement noted.
The statement said, ''it is obvious that such behaviors will not be beneficial to anybody.''
Turkey regarded Arab, Kurd, Turkmen and all other nations in Iraq as its brothers and sisters, the statement said.
The statement added that Turkey wished that Iraq's future would be built on the basis of territorial integrity and national unity.
