Patriot Brought To Batman Ready

DIYARBAKIR/BATMAN - One of Patriot air defense systems is ready at Batman Airport.
Sources said on Tuesday that Patriot air defense systems which were sent from the Netherlands to Iskenderun port five days ago to strengthen defense of the country in case of a possible attack against Iraq were all assembled and ready for use.
Meanwhile, activity continues at the airports after permission has been given for modernization in bases and ports.
A total of 200 trucks carry supplies to Batman Airport and nearly 100 trucks also carry supplies to Diyarbakir the 2nd Tactic Air Forces Command.
