ANKARA - Leaders of Islamic countries will meet at an extraordinary meeting to be held in Qatari capital Doha on Wednesday to take up the Iraq issue.
Prime Minister Abdullah Gul will represent Turkey at the meeting to be held upon call of Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) term president Qatar.
The meeting is expected to last for about 11 hours.
During the meeting, member countries to the OIC will try to assume a joint attitude about the Iraq issue.
Turkish Parliament's decision not to approve the Prime Ministry motion about dispatch of Turkish soldiers abroad and deployment of foreign armed forces in Turkey is expected to high on agenda of the meeting.
