ANKARA - Finance Minister Kemal Unakitan announced on Monday 2003 consolidated budget figure as 146.9 quadrillion Turkish liras (TL).
Holding a press conference due to submission of 2003 consolidated budget draft to the parliament, Unakitan informed reporters about basic economic and budget figures.
Noting that basic economic figures growth rate was determined as 5 percent and gross national product (GNP) deflator became 24.4 percent, Unakitan said that annual wholesale prices were determined averagely as 25.2 and year-end wholesale prices became 17.4 percent.
Unakitan said that annual consumer prices became averagely 27.7 percent and year-end consumer prices were determined as 20 percent and noted that GNP was determined as 354.6 quadrillion TL, export became 39.2 billion U.S. dollars and imports became 54.7 billion U.S. dollars in 2003 consolidated budget.
Unakitan said that budget expenditures were determined as 146.9 quadrillion TL and budget revenues were determined as 100.8 TL in 2003 consolidated budget.
