Yalcinbayir: The Government Will Change On March 9 So There Is No Need To Create A Chaos With My Resignation

ANKARA - State Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Ertugrul Yalcinbayir said on Thursday that he was not thinking of resigning at the moment, adding, ''because, the government will change on March 9 so there is no need to create a chaos with my resignation. If the government would not change after by-election on March 9, I would take a different action.''
When asked about his opposition to Prime Ministry motion on deploying foreign troops in Turkey and when asked whether or not he would resign, Yalcinbayir said that the 58th government would resign after by-election in Siirt on March 9 and the 59th government would be formed.
''So there is no need to create a chaos. My appointment as a minister in the new government is up to the new prime minister,'' he said.
He had signed the motion to ''initiate the process'', Yalcinbayir said and noted, ''it is not true to prevent this with opposition of one or two ministers. Council of Ministers' decisions are taken unanimously. It causes problem if we oppose to such decisions. Then, we should leave it to the parliament.''
''Our actions were not contradictory. We have been saying what we acted like this since the beginning. If we had not signed it, a very serious problem would have occurred. So we left it to the parliamentary will,'' he said.
