Sahin: Government Does Not Have Proposal For Change In Motion

ANKARA - State Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Ali Sahin said on Thursday that the government did not have any proposal for a change in the motion on deployment of foreign soldiers in Turkey and dispatch of Turkish soldiers abroad.
Replying to questions of reporters after his meeting with Prime Minister Abdullah Gul if two separate voting would be held on the motion, Sahin said that the parliament general assembly would decide about that issue if there was such a proposal.
Asked if there was a change in the motion, Sahin noted that the government did not have any proposal for a change in the motion.
When asked if a change could be made during the general assembly, Sahin said that deputies would decide about it if such an issue came onto the agenda of the general assembly.
When asked about the news regarding views of President Ahmet Necdet Sezer related with the motion, Sahin said, ''I don't know what the president has said. But, the motion is now at parliament. The parliament will make the decision about the motion.''
