ANKARA - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) called on Turkish citizens living in Iraq to depart from the country under the recent developments.
Releasing a written statement, the MFA said on Thursday, ''under the recent developments, we recommend our citizens not to travel to Iraq. Turkish citizens living in Iraq should depart from the country for their personal security.''
''If our citizens living in Iraq prefer to stay in the country, they should undertake responsibility of future risks against their personal security,'' the statement added.
