ANKARA - Prime Minister Abdullah Gul said on Wednesday that the prime minister could not decide whether or not motion on deployment of foreign soldiers in Turkey and dispatch of Turkish soldiers abroad the same day.
The extraordinary meeting of the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) started at 9.15 a.m. The party will discuss the motion authorizing the government for sending Turkish soldiers abroad and allowing in foreign soldiers.
Replying questions of reporters if the motion would be taken up at parliament the same day, Gul said, ''the prime minister can't decide about this issue'' while AK Party deputy leader Eyup Fatsa said he did not think so.
Upon questions of reporters, Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Commission Chairman Mehmet Dulger said that ''the motion could be rejected, accepted or changed.''
