U.S. Ambassador Pearson In Foreign Ministry

ANKARA - U.S. Ambassador to Turkey Robert Pearson met on Tuesday with Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Ugur Ziyal.
Diplomatic sources said that there was only one problematic issue left in each of the negotiations carried out in military, economic and political fields between Turkey and the United States.
Pearson is expected to convey the instruction he has got from Washington during his meeting with Ziyal.
The sources signaled that negotiations could be concluded if those points of disagreement were overcome during today's talks.
Pearson came to the Foreign Ministry at 11.00 p.m. on Monday and had a four-hour meeting with Ziyal.
