Many Historical Artifacts Unearthed In Sanliurfa

SANLIURFA - Many artifacts dating to B.C. 8000-2000 were unearthed during archeological excavations in southeastern Sanliurfa province in 2002.
Officials of Sanliurfa Museum told A.A correspondent on Sunday that pottery and statues dating to B.C. 8000-2000 were found in the excavations carried out in 12 different places.
The artifacts are displayed in Sanliurfa Museum.
Archeologists from Turkey, the United States, Germany, Italy and Spain are participating in excavations.
