ANKARA - Talks between Turkey and the United States on military issues within the scope of possible action against Iraq, started on Sunday.
Deniz Bolukbasi and Marisa Lino chair the talks in Foreign Ministry.
Ankara did not find the developments as ''satisfactory'' despite some openings.
Disarmament of Kurds in Northern Iraq, and structure of Iraqi army are among the issues discussed. Meanwhile, it was reported that the United States wants a military or civilian Turkish official to take place in Iraqi administration that would be established after Saddam.
