Snow And Cold Weather Continue Paralyzing Country

ANKARA - Heavy snowfall and cold weather continue paralyzing daily life and traffic across Turkey.
A total of 3375 village roads are closed to traffic in the country.
Officials said on Friday that 556 village roads were still closed to traffic in eastern Erzurum province, 520 village roads in Agri, 295 village roads in Kars, 282 roads in Mus, 265 roads in Bingol were closed to traffic due to heavy snowfall.
Snow reached 68 cm in Agri, 30 cm in Ardahan and 33 cm in Erzincan province.
Teams are working to reopen the roads.
