ANKARA - Foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank decreased by 27 million U.S. dollars between February 7 and 10, 2003.
According to the Central Bank's weekly bulletin, the Central Bank's foreign exchange reserves which were 28 billion 550 million U.S. dollars on February 7, decreased to 28 billion 523 million U.S. dollars on February 10.
Meanwhile, total foreign exchange reserves of banks and private finance organizations increased 172 million U.S. dollars from 10 billion 525 million U.S. dollars on January 17 to 10 billion 697 million U.S. dollars on January 24.
Meanwhile, the international reserves of Turkey comprising gold reserves and foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank, commercial banks and private finance organizations increased 756 million U.S. dollars from 39 billion 693 million U.S. dollars to 40 billion 449 million U.S. dollars between January 17-24.
