ANKARA - The total foreign exchange deposit accounts at banks decreased 30 million U.S. dollars to 63 billion 171 million U.S. dollars as of February 7, 2003.
According to Central Bank's temporary statistics, total foreign exchange deposit accounts at banks was 63 billion 201 million U.S. dollars on January 31.
The foreign exchange deposits decreased 101 million U.S. dollars to 48 billion 543 million U.S. dollars in the same period.
The total internal foreign exchange deposits decreased 106 million U.S. dollars to 46 billion 767 million U.S. dollars while external foreign exchange deposits increased 5 million U.S. dollars to 1 billion 776 million U.S. dollars in the same period.
Meanwhile, total foreign exchange deposits at the interbank market reduced 128 million U.S. dollars to 569 million U.S. dollars.
The foreign exchange deposits with letter of credit and super foreign exchange accounts decreased 29 million U.S. dollars to 14 billion 599 million U.S. dollars between February 7 and 10, 2003.
