ANKARA - Heavy snow paralyzes daily life and traffic across Turkey.
A person froze to death in Uzuncam village of Mudurnu township of Bolu province due to cold weather.
Meteorology officials told the A.A correspondent on Thursday that 3792 village roads were closed to traffic across the country and added that 2148 village roads were closed to traffic in Eastern Anatolia Region and 494 village roads were closed to traffic in Black Sea region.
Rural Services said that teams were working to reopen the roads across the country.
Snow reached 240 cm and temperatures dropped to below minus 11 degrees Celcius in Uludag, ski center in Bursa.
