Gul Talks To Syrian President Al- Asad On The Phone

ANKARA - Prime Minister Abdullah Gul talked to Syrian President Basar Al-Asad on the phone on Monday and exchanged views regarding the recent contacts held by the two sides about Iraqi problem.
Prime Ministry Press Center issued a written statement on the issue and said Gul talked to Syrian President Al-Assad on Monday evening.
The statement said the two sides exchanged views about the recent contacts held by the two sides about Iraqi problem. The sides also focused on the steps that could be taken within the scope of continuation of the Regional Initiative process started in Istanbul on January 23.
