Fruit And Vegetable Exports From Bursa Increase By 18 Percent

BURSA - Fruit and vegetable exports from Bursa increased by 18 percent to 9 million 229 thousand U.S. dollars in January 2003.
According to figures of Uludag Exporters Association, the city raised an income of 7 million 816 thousand U.S. dollars through its exports in January 2002.
The Netherlands was ranked the first among export centers of Bursa while this country was followed by Britain, Germany, Saudi Arabia, France, Japan, Belgium, Switzerland, Kuwait and Russian Federation.
The city exported its products to 38 countries and autonomous regions and two free zones in January 2003.
