ANKARA - Prime Minister Abdullah Gul and British Prime Minister Tony Blair discussed Iraq on the phone on Friday.
A statement of the Prime Ministry Press Center said that the Blair called Gul and informed him about his meeting with U.S. President George Bush in Camp David on January 31, 2003 and efforts which were being exerted on solution of Iraqi issue under resolutions of U.N. Security Council.
The statement said that Gul informed Blair about the decision which was taken by the parliament on Thursday and Turkey's efforts for peace.
Gul said that it was vital to meet demands of Turkish Cypriot side for a solution of Cyprus issue and asked for support of Britain on the issue.
