Ankara Anti-war Platform Members Protest Decision Of Parliament

ANKARA - Members of Ankara Anti-War Platform protested on Thursday the parliamentary decision which permitted technical and military personnel of the U.S. to stay in Turkey for three months regarding the modernization studies in military bases and ports.
The group gathered in Guvenpark in Kizilay and they shouted slogans saying ''We Won't be U.S. Soldiers.''
Ender Buyukculha, the Human Rights Association's Ankara Office Chairman and the Platform's Spokesman asserted that Turkey said 'yes' to war by the decision of the parliament.
Police took tight security measures during the demonstration. Later the group dispersed.
