ANKARA - An International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation headed by Turkey Desk Chief Juha Kahkonen will come to Turkey on Friday to resume talks on the fourth review of stand-by deal.
Sources said on Thursday that IMF delegation would start its talks with economic officials by evaluating the statistics prepared by IMF experts who had come to Turkey earlier.
Talks of the fourth review which were scheduled to finish in September 2002 could not be concluded due to general elections and formation of the new government.
After completion of the review, the IMF is expected to approve nearly 1.6 billion U.S. dollars tranche of loan to Turkey.
